Antique wooden shoe stretcher with long cast iron screw bolt action
The wooden section measures 8¼" (21 cm) high x 2¾" (7 cm) wide when compressed, 3½" (8.9 cm) wide fully opened
The bolt is 9" (22.9 cm) long
It is marked with a 3 and a mark that appears to be a double circle that says TRADE and has what appears to be S centered over an M inside the circle
We have not made any attempt to clean or otherwise restore this item opting instead to maintain the original patina
A nice piece for the antiquities collector or simply as an item for décor
